Gardienne Trailer

Here's a sneak peak at Gardienne, a short film as part of Djibril Drame's newest photo series.

The short film, Gardienne, is an experimental narrative film that explores the extraordinary power of women to encourage and improve communities. It presents the possibilities that positivity, creativity, and sports can create against all odds.

Gardienne...coming soon

Upcoming project titled Gardienne with artist and photographer Djibril Drame aka God eye ( Gadaay )

Gadaay was inspired to create his newest project, Gardienne, while in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for the Addis Foto Fest in 2016. He was influenced by the skateboarding and graffiti lifestyle of the city and Gardienne is the result of that inspiration.

This photo series and experimental narrative film tell the story of coming of age in Entoto, an impoverished neighborhood of Addis Ababa. It aims to present the possibilities that positivity, creativity, and sports can create against all odds and the extraordinary power of women to encourage and improve communities.

The series is one that will grow and evolve over time. This will be my second major collaboration with Gadaay.
